「そういうときはメーン商品や客単価の高い商品をお勧めしたり、駅前店なら通りで呼び込みをしたりして売り上げを増やす努力をします。それでもダメならクルーの数を減らす。つまり早めに帰ってもらう。幸い、うちの店舗では自発的に『暇なので帰りますね』と言ってくれるクルーが多い。逆に忙しければ延長してもらうこともある」

　A店長は30分ごとに目標達成状況を常に現場に伝えて、達成すればみんなで喜ぶ空気をつくっているせいか、アルバイトが状況を察知して“人員調整”に協力してくれるのだという。

「これを普段からコミュニケーションが取れていない店舗でやったら終わりです。常に一緒に働いて、みんなのモチベーションを上げる雰囲気づくりをして信頼関係を築いている。アルバイトの高校生でも『この30分、どれだけ売れました？』と気にかけてくれるほどです」
